MIMIC NetFlow Simulator - Application with nfsen (NetFlow Sensor)

The user interface shows: An nfsen server page, with the Details tab selected. The netflows shown in blue are ambient network flow data from actual hardware, and the flows in green represent a high level of netflow activity from MIMIC NetFlow - enabled simulations, collected over a period of 1 day.

Greater variability in the simulation generated traffic could be achieved in a number of ways, most easily by starting and stopping MIMIC NetFlow exporting agents running different configuration files. A timer script could be used to automate this task.
